We also awarded the Shawn P. Cotter Memorial Scholarship to Abington High School graduate Christopher Pinola, who will be studying astronomy and computer science at Bridgewater State University! Today we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible interns! 👏 Whether they’re crunching numbers in commercial credit, keeping us tech-savvy in IT, supporting innovation in strategic projects, or helping out in loan servicing, they’re rocking it every day! We asked them to share their favorite part about interning with our team. David said his favorite part of his internship so far is how much he’s learned about the commercial credit aspect of banking. “It’s great to be able to apply the skills I have learned through numerous finance classes to help me excel during this internship program.” Joshua has been interning with us every summer since 2022! We’re so excited that he continues to expand his knowledge and passion for all things loan servicing. “My favorite thing about my internship with the strategic projects team has been the opportunity to sit in on key conversations and see first-hand how each department works together to get a project done,” said Amy. “This internship has allowed me to see the full scope of the hard work that goes into perfecting all of the systems that we utilize on a daily basis, and I’ve learned so much in the weeks that I’ve been here!” Anastasia’s favorite thing about her internship is the incredible team that she gets to work with. “They are knowledgeable in their field and aren’t afraid to share their skillset with an intern such as myself.” Olivia’s highlight? Meetings! “My favorite thing that I get to do is sit in on meetings! Everyone does a great job at elaborating on what they are doing, and I am learning so much from it.” “I have enjoyed the warm welcome, friendliness, and helpfulness of the team in IT,” said Parissa. “They have been so supportive of me, doing what they can to expose me to different experiences. It’s special to be given the opportunity to find out what kind of work will make you happy, learn new things, and make new connections at the same time!” We can’t wait to see what you all achieve in the future! ⭐ #UnlockYourPotential
