Issuing bogus qualifications is an offence under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 and can lead to civil and criminal penalties. We will take action against anyone who engages in this practice. When students present their certification to providers, employers and licensing bodies as evidence of their competency, it’s important to authenticate these certificates before they are accepted. Unique Student Identifier (USI) transcripts can be used to authenticate a student’s certification documentation.
