16-months ago, our talented technical support contractor based in Slovakia was successful in obtaining a full-time position with us in Brisbane. His work on our aircraft over the years has been recognized and appreciated by the business, and we couldn’t be happier to bring him and his family to Australia. A long 16-months going through the motions of securing visas for him and his family, we are delighted to welcome him into Alliance Airlines Brisbane base! The launch of the Foodbank Queensland and Alliance Airlines’ Isuzu truck took place at our Hangar at the Brisbane Airport earlier this week. The purple ribbon ceremony was hosted by the Alliance Airlines Non-Executive Director, David Crombie and the Foodbank Queensland CEO, Jess Watkinson GAICD and attended by our Chief Operating Officer, Stewart Tully, Chief Financial Officer, Marc Devine as well as our Brisbane office staff members. Our commitment to community services through the donation of this truck will allow Foodbank Queensland to grow its capacity to collect food for charities by 20% and distribute to families and children in need. We are proud to support Foodbank Queensland through our corporate partnership program over the next few years.
