American Express has been a long-time proponent of women’s sports, athletes and the many organizations that support them. And, while the spotlight is finally shining bright on women’s athletics around the world, we’re proud to say our backing predates this current fever pitch.     From 14 years of unforgettable games and experiences with our WNBA partnership to our new sponsorship of the F1 ACADEMY™, Amex has been a staunch supporter of leagues, teams, athletes, tournaments and non-profits that make women’s sports an exciting and vibrant community.   Read about the ways we’ve shown up for women athletes this year in communities around the world: https://go.amex/h9CsKr

Happy #TeamAmex Tuesday! Today, Liz from New York, shares how our College Coach benefit helped her and her daughter navigate the college admission process: I’m Liz, a Senior Manager in B2B Marketing, and I’ve been at American Express since 2014. While preparing my daughter to apply for college, I found out about Amex’s College Coach benefit, which gives us exclusive access to talk one-on-one with former college admissions and financial aid officers. Our coach went over everything, including standardized testing, financial aid and the admissions process. We even got personal advice on my daughter’s essay and a customized list of schools that matched her interests and experience. Resources like these can be incredibly expensive and challenging to find – having this personal support for my daughter and me (for free!) has been a huge relief for the both of us. I am so grateful to American Express for providing this benefit. It confirms that I am part of a company that cares about its colleagues and their families – through every stage of life. With Amex Offers, we help merchants deliver that at scale, underpinned by rich data and insights,” said ERIN FRANKCOMBE, Vice President and General Manager of Amex Offers at American Express.   Read more: https://lnkd.in/eZQbRW36

We recently brought global non-profit leaders together for a series of events in London including the Leadership Academy, hosted by American Express and Common Purpose with support from Hilton and Delta Air Lines, and an inspiring panel discussion timed to the Wimbledon Women’s Finals match. Participants heard firsthand from key speakers and engaged in community experiences and networking opportunities to help enhance their change making skills.    "This year’s Leadership Academy in London brought together an incredible group of non-profit leaders for in-person programming and inspiring conversations about the ways we can deepen our impact in the communities where we live and work. Non-profit leaders believe in their work and tell their stories from the heart, and we are helping to equip them with the skills they need to break through all the noise out there and make sure their stories resonate, so they can raise more awareness for their organizations,” said Jennifer Skyler, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at American Express.    Read more insights the dynamic leaders shared at these events: https://lnkd.in/gSrsFM9e
