Everyone deserves to feel safe at work. Yet, migrant and refugee women in Australia are deprived of this basic security. Today, we’re proud to release our latest report, Migrant and Refugee Women: A National Study of Experiences, Understandings, and Responses to Sexual Harassment in the Workplace. Building on earlier findings that 46% of migrant and refugee women have faced workplace sexual harassment in the last five years, this research offers the first clear evidence of the intersecting oppressions that migrant and refugee women experience in Australian workplaces.
