The contract supports the S&P/ASX Index for ‘larger’ more liquid small-mid caps. He explains, what if you carved out the 100 smallest companies in the S&P/ASX 200 into their own index? The contract is being listed to offer better risk management and reduce tracking error for fund managers trading in the small-mid cap space.
