An incredible honour on Monday to attend the VGF Paul Rak Memorial Golf Trophy Day and support my nieces Sarah and Mel Rak. It was the first time I'd been back to RM since Paul's passing. And incredibly proud of my nieces. Thank you to Australian Golf Foundation and Golf Australia Team including Emily Maclean, The Royal Melbourne Golf Club with Damon Lonnie's team including Aaron Newnham, Jacob Harrison and all the ground staff and then the house staff with Inoka Gamage's Team including Narelle Porter and a young fella Nick who helped me early in the day. One of Pauls pillars was "staff" and no doubt that quality continues in spades at RM and GA. Such a respectful honour to have AutographBall involved in quite a few places at RM on the day. The Photo Display with the Golf Balls as Photo Frames was positively commented on by participants, as were the Dining Table Decorations. I've repeated many times but Paul was a huge supporter of the "Big Golf Balls" and that was a great fillip for myself. He'd try and juggle them. And while we had some time on Monday, Sarah and Mel took the opportunity to recreate a photo of the 2 girls holding the golf balls from Kingston Heath back in year 2000. Their mum and dad would be smiling from above. We all shared some more great memories on the day. Thanks to all the participants as well. Everyone seemed to have a fantastic day. And they came from far and wide to support the sell out day (morning and afternoon). Monies raised go to the VGF which provides grants to support Junior Golf development. Some jobs are all about love. Paul Rak (OAM) was my brother in law. To my nieces Sarah and Mel Rak, he was just "Dad". To the world of "Golf", Paul was an incredible Golf Club administrator, a fabulous mentor and a great friend to "Golf" everywhere. Paul was taken too early by "C". The Victorian Golf Foundation renamed their flagship annual golf event after Paul shortly post his passing in late 2015. The VGF Paul Rak Memorial Trophy Day appropriately scheduled at Royal Melbourne GC. This year it's scheduled for the end of June and I'm told is already sold out. The event raises funds for Golf development. Paul would be wanting to humbly shake everyone's hands with his trademark vice like hand shake in thanks, accompanied by his brilliant smile while looking you in the eye. Recently I ran it past my nieces that the Autograph Golf Ball might be a fit for the Paul Rak day. They agreed. The girls know the history and how supportive Paul was of the concept back in 2000. The girls were even there to help construct the original Autograph Golf Balls on the actual eve of the 2000 Australian Open at Kingston Heath GC where Paul was GM. It was a very long day and night to make sure we delivered. (Photo Below of the Girls) So recently it was fabulous to meet up with the event organiser Emily Maclean at Sandringham headquarters and work through some ideas (Photo Below of Emily and Adrian at Sandringham). Tee Markers, Display Balls even with Photos and Table Markers etc. Emily was awesome and enthusiastic. She really likes the Autograph Golf Balls and all the options. So we push on and prepare for this years event! Thanks Emily! Further on Paul .... I was lucky enough to see the admiration of Pauls peers first hand. Paul invited me to one of his Golf Club Secretary Managers Association meetings back in the day. Afterwards people stayed back to talk to Paul. He made sure he had time for everyone. At Kingston Heath, I would just drop in randomly and he'd always have time for my chats. Many of those chats between Paul and I were about this idea I had of an Autograph Golf Ball. He became a Champion of the Autograph Golf Ball and made sure his friend Andrew Langford-Jones was also on board. Paul could see it lit up his own girls eyes and quickly figured it would ultimately help promote Golf. Thanks and God Bless. A huge pleasure to get along to What the Putt mini golf entertainment in Brunswick.  Yes we love they feature our Autograph Golf Balls. I caught up with manager James and he waxed lyrical about the smiles the What the Putt Big Balls provide! But I was there to also feed a mini golf need! What The Putt boasts 27 awesome fun challenging mini golf holes.  And the experience will bring out the smiles for individuals, couples and families alike! Add to that golfers and non-golfers will be right at home! What the Putt is also a bar with awesome refreshments and fab food to compliment any occasion. Be it an outing or a birthday or "team building" work function, What the Putt are ready to host with a smile. Ask James can he add a Big Ball to the Package! While there I also showed James the clear Autograph Golf Balls with the light shows they can accommodate and we discussed activation ideas! I also showed him the Autograph Ball Photo Frame activation. We all agree these experiences are all about making memorable fun.  And capturing that is a massive bonus! The Autograph Golf Ball has been used with Junior Golf Programs for over 20 years. In 2004 then Queensland Junior Golf Coordinator David Podlich told us "You just have to see the kids faces when they've got the ball. It's a winner." Fast forward 2024 .... Jayden Zeenstra speaking about the Autograph Golf Balls said, "These were a massive hit" Ashlee Clark agreed, "Nothing but positive feedback regarding the balls. Kids, families and adults loved them!" The Autograph Golf Ball helps carry the message of Golf Inspiration and it provides a medium for awesome Golf Memories. This can be particularly relevant to Juniors. We are so pleased our Autograph Golf Ball has supported grass roots Junior Golf programs helping to inspire the Golf stars of the future. Tee Mates just had it's first birthday but it is already a huge hit and the My Golf Program is a world renowned success. Having once been the young kids with "golf stars" in our eyes ourselves .... We love just pondering, that some lucky participants in these My Golf and Tee Mates programs soon will have great memories with the Autograph Golf Ball.
