Market leader in compostable packaging | B Corp | Percentage of profits to positive change

About us

BioPak was founded with the intention of disrupting an industry that was ripe for change, and a significant contributor to the degradation of the environment in the packaging it produced and the resources it consumed. We believe there is a better way of doing things. That’s why all of our packaging is made from responsibly-sourced plant-based materials, designed for a circular economy and carbon neutral from resource to disposal. It starts with responsibly-sourced materials, continues with environmentally certified manufacturing processes, and ends with nutrient-rich compost that can be used to regenerate soil, grow new plants and help fight climate change. More than just going plastic-free, BioPak's compostable packaging and compost collection service mean we can all join the movement towards zero waste. We offset all carbon emissions associated with the production, distribution and disposal of our products. We donate 7.5% of profits to Rainforest Rescue (Australia) and Forest & Bird (New Zealand), two conservation organisations fighting to protect and restore our national forests, as well as local charities and offset all carbon associated with our products. As a certified BCorp, we are legally required to consider the impact of our decisions on our workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. This is a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using businesses as a force for good.

Monday Fundraising Highlight ✨ Welcome to the second week of me highlighting the amazing fundraising that is going on for Shelter in the Midlands at the moment! This week I want to shine a light on one of our great corporate supporters, BioPak. They have been supporting us since 2022, making donations from the sale of their Christmas cups over the past two festive seasons. They have donated a brilliant £2641.10 to us since we have been working together, and we can't wait to work with them more in the future. Thank you so much BioPak! 🏠 ❤️

Forests are the 'lungs of the earth' absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. Protecting and restoring forests also helps mitigate biodiversity loss, a critical impact of climate change. Rainforest Rescue has been safeguarding rainforests for 25 years by purchasing high conservation value properties and ensuring their biodiversity is preserved forever. Their focus on restoring the Daintree, Australia’s largest and one of the world’s most biodiverse rainforests, is essential. The Daintree has thrived for 180 million years, making it the world’s most ancient rainforest, far older than the Amazon. Recently, Rainforest Rescue asked Richard Fine, Co-Founder of BioPak, about the meaning and impact of our partnership. Hear what Richard had to say: https://bit.ly/biopak_rr
