Feel free to get creative and dress up in themed costumes if you'd like, sip on drinks from the bar, and indulge in delicious food from on-site food trucks and pizza oven. No experience needed - we provide all equipment and assign a junior athlete to guide you. Join us for just $20.00 per game ($10.00 per person) and if you win, advance to the next round! Exciting news for our Junior bocce enthusiasts! The 2024 Australian Bocce Junior Open Championships are just around the corner so don't miss out on the chance to spectate their skills. This competition is an official Bocce Australia qualification Championship with the winning players eligible to qualify for the Australian Junior Squad team. If selected via the Australian Junior Selection process, players will be able to compete for Australia at the 2024 World Junior Championships to be held in Puerto Rico, 3-7 December.  We are seeking sponsors for our Junior Australiuan Team which will be a great opportunity for exposure both locally and Internationally for businesses. Our own Sonia Fava is presented with an appreciation award by FIB - Frederic Ruiz (president federation international de boules). The award is for Sonia’s FIB support and work she does in Australia for the sport! Sonia was surprised as it was so unexpected and only one other person from the 75 nations was recognised at this years congress and that was the president of Croatia for his federations support to the FIB. Congratulations Sonia from us all in Australia.

2023 Senior women’s and mixed world championships in Rumilly France

Bocce Australia would like to welcome and congratulate our new volunteer Social Media Co-ordinator Samuel Pevere!! Samuel brings his expert media skills and experience to our sport and we are excited to have him as part of the team. Here is a message from Samuel: Hello! I am Samuel Pevere. I am 16 and live down in Cooma NSW. I have always been connected with Bocce. My family have been involved in running the Cooma Bocce Sporting Club for 10+ years. I am currently the Social Secretary, Publicity, for the club. Not only do I help with the Bocce club I also go to school and referee Basketball. I am currently in year 12 and the Referees Coordinator for Cooma Basketball. I have always loved local communities and in this position I can connect local, state and national bocce!

Congratulations to Diane Penney receiving the 2023 Gippstar Sports Award!!! On Thursday 10th August Diane Penney was awarded the 2023 Gippstar Sports Award for her contribution and achievements in the sport of BOCCE/RAFFA.

Congratulations to Franco Fava who was officially inducted into the Latrobe City Sporting Hall of Fame. Franco has been a successful player, coach and referee and one of the most colourful performers in Australia’s bocce history. Franco was formally recognised for his achievements with a ceremony and plaque unveiling at Latrobe City Council Headquarters.
