About us
BRADY MARINE & CIVIL are a specialist marine contractor with core capabilities in the construction of wharves, jetties, offshore pipelines, bridges over water and other marine based complex structures. Formed on the strength of Managing Director Paul Brady’s 25 year career in this specialised field, our strength is in marine infrastructure projects with an element of technical complexity, where we can best utilise our in-house engineering skills to deliver successful outcomes in a design and construct, early contractor involvement or construct only environment. We generally undertake marine works through direct resources using our owned equipment. Our intimate knowledge of the capabilities of these skills and resources enables us to give accurate representations to our Clients and designers through the design stage. Our fleet of equipment is also varied in type (eg temporary work platforms or floating plant, driven or bored piles), enabling us to form an un-biased view on the most appropriate methodology – a “best-for-project” approach. We maintain a very open relationship with our Clients and partners, with open and honest communications a feature of the way we do business.

National Volunteer Week 2024 - Making a Green Difference Together We are thrilled to share that a large team of Brady volunteers had the fantastic opportunity to work together at Green Thumb Farm for National Volunteer Week. It was a morning filled with fresh air, teamwork, laughter and a whole lot of dirt under our fingernails! From planting new seedlings to sprucing up bamboo flower beds, our team got their hands dirty and hearts filled as we contributed to the beauty of this unique, community farm. Thank you to the incredible staff and volunteers at Green Thumb Farm, Samford for guiding us every step of the way! Together, we are sowing the seeds of positive change and nurturing the growth of our shared green spaces. Let's continue to cultivate knowledge, kindness and make a difference, one garden at a time! #TeamVolunteering #CommunityGreenThumb #MakingADifference #GrowTogether #Greenthumbfarm 🌻

We can see the finish line in sight, the last pier has been completed! Our next step is assisting our client Acciona Georgiou JV with preparations for bridge girder placement on the marine piers that have been completed over the previous months. A total of 54 girders will be placed over the river piers in the coming months. We’re delighted to have been given the opportunity to work with repeat clients ACCIONA and Georgiou and deliver these bridge works for the Coomera Connector Stage 1. #Marineconstruction #Marine #Piers Department of Transport and Main Roads

The team on our marine & dredge works contract at Devonport East continue to stride towards the finish line. The first of four wharf deck topping slabs was cast this week and the last of the wharf precast elements will be placed in the coming weeks. We’ve been standing and erecting the large precast fender blocks utilising a clever temporary works solution developed by our outstanding team of engineers. Last weekend we even had a visit from Neil the seal, who likes to scratch his chest on the scour protection bags we have placed. We think Neil is reasonably impressed with what’s going on. Thanks always to our client TasPorts and JV partner Hazell Bros Group together with the many local suppliers and subcontractors who have been helping us deliver these works. Happy Easter to all. #marineconstruction #ports #marine

As a business with a proud history of operating across Australia’s coastlines, constructing wharves, jetties, offshore pipelines, bridges over water and other marine based complex structures, we have long been conscious of the importance of strong environmental performance and protecting the marine environments we work in. We are committed to working with our clients to ‘build back better.’ We also recognise the impacts of construction and climate change on Australia’s marine habitats and are currently implementing proactive measures to enhance biodiversity in the environments in which we operate. #Marineconstruction #Innovation #Marine #Worldwaterday #Worldwaterday2024

Our company was excited to be a part of the Australian Maritime College (AMC) Careers Fair at the Sir Raymond Ferrall Centre in Newnham on the 13th of March. It was fantastic to see a diverse group of students in attendance, including a relatively high proportion of women excited to enter into this industry. The event offered great opportunities for students to engage with key members of our team that have the experience and knowledge to provide further insight and understanding of this industry. It was great to discuss how our teams could potentially work together to complete projects in various places and situations. We look forward to attending more of these events to help provide guidance to our future leaders as they take steps to enter in the Maritime Industry. #Marineconstruction #Marine #Maritimeindustry #Maritmecareers #futureleaders #Fosterthefuture
