Today some of our wonderful allied health therapists presented to a packed room of support coordinators in Perth, as well as across the country online for Concentric's regular Power Hour event. They gave insights into paediatric and adult Functional Capacity Assessments - why refer for them and what goes into them from a clinical perspective. After their presentation there was a great discussion about the Assessments and insightful questions from the crowd, followed by lunch and networking. Yesterday the Concentric team located at Opal Healthcare Treeby Parklands Care Community held their own Treeby Olympics featuring the (slightly modified) sports of shotput, javelin, sprint, cycling, gymnastics and hurdles. It was fantastic to see members of the Care Community taking part, along with their carers and family members. There was even a medal presentation for each sport, and the Concentric team were helped by students from The University of Notre Dame Australia. A great day out and such joy on faces when the results were announced and subsequent medals and certificates were presented. #agedcare #olympics #concentric #careforgood #alliedhealth
