moore is a gorgeous cookbook created by Vikki Moore who fought MND and passed away at 50. She was an inimitable home cook, accomplished food writer, prized eater, and all-around passionate gourmet. This book honours her memory, and the funds raised go directly to FightMND and our vision of a world free of MND. We are so grateful that Vikki chose to share this legacy with us. It is thanks to our supporters and the MND community that we are able to continue fighting the Beast that is MND. Challenge 27 is back! Unfreeze your fitness routine this September and raise funds for vital motor neurone disease cure research and care initiatives. Dr Jennilee Davidson, PhD, MSc, a Research Fellow at the Macquarie University Motor Neuron Disease (MND) Research Centre, has been named as one of three international ALS Scholars in Therapeutics. It is jointly funded by FightMND, Sean M. Healey and AMG Center for ALS at Massachusetts General Hospital and ALS Finding a Cure®. Dr Bec Sheean, Director of Research and Programs at FightMND, says the competitive award is a fantastic recognition of the innovative research that Dr Davidson and her team are doing at Macquarie. Run4Rossy is back for 2024! Chris "Rossy" Ross was diagnosed with MND at just 31 years old. He made it his mission to raise $1 million to go towards beating the Beast. Chris fought MND bravely until August 2023, but his journey isn’t over! Since the first event in 2021, Run4Rossy has raised more than $360,000. FightMND are grateful for the incredible fundraising efforts by the Run4Rossy team and we look forward to supporting them in continuing Chris' legacy towards that $1 million goal.
