This new addition to #DiscoveryParks - Harrington Beach is sure to be PUPular. Clean those muddy paws and give your dog the salon treatment they deserve (blow drying included) when you're out on the road. With more and more aussies looking at pet friendly travel options, we're continuing to invest in amenities to meet this demand, with dedicated dog walking areas, pet friendly accomodation options and our latest dog wash at Harrington Beach. Across our network of #DiscoveryParks and #GdayParks, we have more than 200 dog friendly destinations, ensuring even four legged members of the family can join on the next trip.

Last week, our Chief Development Officer John Domino had the opportunity to sit down with Sue Williams from Commercial Real Estate to discuss our plans for continued investment across the #Discovery portfolio. With demand for domestic holidays remaining strong, we're developing our parks to re-imagine the customer experience and raising the bar for regional holidays. John 💬 “For those who haven’t stayed at a Discovery park recently, it’s far, far from the caravan parks of old." “These are very much holiday parks, offering great family-friendly accommodation, powered and unpowered sites and fabulous experiences with lots of communal areas with kitchens and BBQs and attractions." As announced yesterday, G'day Group Founder and Chief Executive Officer Grant Wilckens will conclude his tenure as Chair of the Caravan Industry Association of Australia in September after an incredible seven years of leadership. Grant joined the #CIAA board during a time of change, in 2015, and was soon elevated to the role of Chair. Over the past seven years, Grant has demonstrated visionary leadership and fostered deeper collaboration across the industry. This leadership has helped to evolve Australia's caravan and camping sector into a powerhouse of the national visitor economy, contributing more than $27 billion in economic impact and 60 million visitor nights annually. Hospitality offerings at our resorts in the Northern Territory and Western Australia just became a whole lot tastier thanks to a new partnership with Australian social enterprise Cultivate Food and Beverage. Cultivate Food and Beverage is a unique business, a social enterprise under the Bedford Group. With a social charter to employ a minimum of 20% of its workforce with a disability or experiencing a barrier to work, in an open employment setting, Cultivate is a training ground producing some of our country’s future chefs and hospitality workers. Apprentices and chefs from Cultivate will cook a range of ready-to-eat and heat and serve meals and snacks designed to complement the existing range for retail outlets and on-site restaurants at Discovery Resorts – Kings Canyon in the NT and El Questro Station and El Questro Emma Gorge in WA’s Kimberley Region. As part of the partnership, Cultivate will continue to engage with G’day Group on menu design and options for on-site restaurants and retail outlets. The partnership provide our guests with more food options they can grab on the go before heading to out explore the surrounding landscapes or a quick and delicious meal option after a long day of adventuring, and will proudly support employment for people of all abilities and backgrounds. Keep an eye out for the new menu offerings if you’re visiting! Bedford Group Cultivate Food and Beverage #KingsCanyon #ElQuestro

Rounding out what has been another successful financial year for the Group, we were pleased to recently announce our latest addition to the Discovery Parks portfolio - Taunton Farm Holiday Park. Centrally located in the renowed Margaret River tourist region, south of Perth, the park offers 81 tourist sites and 18 cabins, and is set on a large 17-hectare parcel of land adjacent to a working cattle property, offering a unique farmstay experience. The property joins the Group as Discovery Parks - Margaret River. The acquisition is the Group’s second in recent months, after we added Discovery Parks – Moama Waters in New South Wales to the portfolio in late April. G’day Group now proudly operates 88 holiday parks and resorts around Australia, with property assets valued in excess of $1.8 billion. #DiscoveryParks #WesternAustralia #tourism Tourism Western Australia #MargaretRiver

National Reconciliation Week represents an important time to reflect on and celebrate the contributions and rich culture of First Nations peoples in the communities where we operate. At our remote properties, including Discovery Resorts - Kings Canyon and El Questro, we are proud to share close ties with our Traditional Owners and the week provided an opportunity to recognise and strengthen these connections. At Kings Canyon, we were pleased to host students and teachers from the remote Utju Areyonga school for a special National Reconciliation Week breakfast. El Questro's National Reconciliation Week program included song, film and a special bush tucker walk led by William Gallagher. William is currently completing his Certificate III in Tourism with support from G'day Group as part of historic Indigenous Land Use Agreement. It was fantastic to see these skills in work as William shared stories of his Country with guests. #NRW #reconciliation #NationalReconciliationWeek #GdayGroup
