Research has shown that simply petting a dog lowers the stress hormone cortisol, while the social interaction between people and dogs actually increases levels of the feel-good hormone oxytocin. And it’s fair to say that the oxytocin levels were at an all-time high today when Red and Milky (along with their human companions Tamara & Amelia) from Greyhounds as Pets SA paid a visit to SA Power Networks. Did you know… 🐾 Greyhounds sleep a lot and often enjoy a lazy lifestyle 🐾 Contrary to popular belief, they only require a short 20-30 minute walk 🐾 They make great apartment dogs due to their low energy level 🐾 Greyhounds make wonderful, affectionate pets. Gentle and well mannered, they thrive on human companionship and form bonds quickly Why not contact Greyhounds as Pets and organise your own office visit? Or better still, look at fostering or adopting one of these beautiful creatures. Either way, I promise you won’t regret it. https://gapsa.org.au/ #BestDayInTheOfficeEver #ThatFaceSaysItAll #GreyhoundsAsPets
