There are two things that I have lived by in life; i) to inspire others and be inspired ii) to become the best version of myself. After spending more than 20 years in corporate and a short career break I decided to unbundle my successes and share some of the tools I have learnt over the years to help others. I am now a successful entrepreneur, coach and mentor in the personal development space. I draw from the teachings, philosophies, musings and inspirations of a multitude of wise and worldly people to assist others in creating fulfilling and successful lives and businesses. Letting go is both empowering and liberating. In a business context, giving people breathing space and time to figure out something on their own (with some degree of guidance and instruction) gives one the opportunity to think more creatively. When they succeed, the learning process becomes a lived and a living experience. Its understood on a deeper level. There are so many positive outcomes to this: - the learning is empowering to the student = feel good experience and confidence to do more = empowering - the learning is liberating to the teacher = a leader creating a new leader = liberating and empowering to teach more or freeing up of time to focus on other things (vision, strategy etc) - the learning is inspiring to others = being part of a winning team, inspiring to achieve more, be more and do more Letting go is a movement of energy forward somehow for greater good. Letting go is about building a stronger foundation. So, let's go and let go!
When we delegate tasks we get things done. But when we delegate responsibility, others get done much more than we ever could.
