You can join Alana, Rocket, and the rest of the PAWGUST pack by registering as a workplace team or individual here: www.pawgust.com.au 🦮 #GuideDogs #PAWGUST #RegisterNow #TeamBuilding #WorkplaceGiving

Hello from the NT! 🦘 Over the weekend, our team attended the Deadly Cup Rugby League Carnival in the Northern Territory. This event is a fantastic community celebration of Indigenous peoples and culture, connecting families with services and promoting eye health and wellbeing. Thank you to Deadly Enterprises, Australia's first Aboriginal-owned optical provider, for having us! It was great to be part of this event and connect with the community! #GuideDogs #NorthernTerritory #DeadlyCup #DeadlyEnterprises

We had the pleasure of visiting the SA Power Networks Marleston Station to thank their staff for generously supporting Guide Dogs SA/NT through their SA Power Networks Employee Foundation. Wearing her orange bandanna to let everyone know it was okay to give a pat, Ambassadog Esky personally thanked the team with lots of cuddles. Client Alana Tiller, with Guide Dog Rocket, also shared her story and spoke about her upcoming involvement in PAWGUST. #GuideDogs #Pawgust #GuideDog #SAPN #SAPowerNetworks

While we often speak about the accessibility of content, this World Social Media Day we want to highlight using your platform for good. Clicking ‘share’, commenting on a post or creating your own post around an advocacy topic could be the difference between only a few people hearing an important message, or hundreds! Not everyone can afford to make monetary donations to a charity, so using the power of social media is a fantastic way to show your support for a cause close to your heart and make a positive difference in the community without breaking the bank. Thank you to all of our followers showing support through sharing, liking and commenting! #GuideDogs #Inclusion #Accessability #WorldSocialMediaDay

Last year, Emily was matched with her very first guide dog, Tanner, and says he has changed her life! “Tanner puts a smile on my face every time I talk about him. Having my Guide Dog allows me to visit my friends independently, to navigate university campuses on my own, and to just be a more confident person.” said Emily. A Guide Dog’s ability to open a world of independence and mobility is one thing, but the companionship they provide is just as important. Since being matched with Tanner, Emily doesn’t feel so alone. He is the perfect companion for day-to-day tasks and is an essential part of her plans for the future! The pair are an unstoppable force and show that anything is possible with the right support. Please read Emily and Tanner’s full story here: https://lnkd.in/gpAbiAZU #GuideDogs #Accessibility #Equality #VisionServices #SouthAustralia

It’s been just over a month since the South Australian community came together and celebrated Guide Dogs Day! Did you know Adelaide turned orange just for us? 🧡 On 24 April, the town was painted orange in support of Guide Dogs SA/NT and the work our incredible Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs undertake every day for our community 🦮. We would like to say a huge thank you to Adelaide Oval, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, University of South Australia, Adelaide Festival Centre, SAHMRI, SA Power Networks and the Riverbank Precinct Pedestrian Bridge for lighting up your iconic locations in Guide Dogs orange. An additional thank you to our videographer Dustin Wilson and kwpx Agency for the creative campaign seen on billboards and advertising spaces around the state! #GuideDogs #GuideDogsDay #GivingDay #Fundraising #InternationalGuideDogDay #IGDD
