It was great having the entire team in Minneapolis for the annual CIS meeting to see old friends and make new connections. Our CSO, Ben Cocks, presented a poster showing the diagnostic utility of our flagship tool, PrimDx, in an independent cohort of primary immunodeficiency patients. We enjoyed all of the discussions about exciting new research happening in the field as well as the future directions shaping to take place in clinical immunology. It was also great spending a couple of weeks developing opportunities on the east and west coasts of the U.S., taking time to rest, and preparing for exciting things to come at Immunosis! I'm excited to announce that the Nature Genetics publication from my PhD/RA days at Monash has finally arrived! We show that part of the RNA-binding surface of EZH2 is required for the chromatin modification activity of PRC2, but this activity is independent of RNA. This was a great final project at Monash and I feel lucky to have been part of such an amazing team as a member of the Davidovich lab. I truly am thankful for everything I learned that has made me the bioinformatician I am today. #RNA #publication #PRC2

We were deeply saddened to learn of Vicki Modell’s passing over the weekend. Our team met with Vicki earlier this year and we saw the unmatched dedication to advocacy and education with Fred as co-founders of the Jeffrey Modell Foundation. Her unwavering commitment to championing the cause of those affected by primary immunodeficiency was strongly felt in the PID community and her efforts have greatly improved the lives of many. We send our deepest condolences to the Modell family and those close.
