On Wednesday, we celebrated International Women in Engineering Day at JobAdder. We had the privilege of listening to Roisin Parkes - Director of Engineering at Google - and our very own CTO Yoke Lee talk about their journeys as women in tech. Both of which have had their fair share of difficulties, cases of imposter syndrome but also an abundance of success and rewards. These were truly inspirational stories that should encourage more women to forge careers in tech - there is still a staggeringly low number of female CTO's globally and an even lower percentage in Australia and in tech!
