At Kids First we understand that sensitive children are often bright, "tuned-in" souls who experience emotions deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and hold themselves to high standards. That’s why our experienced child psychologists offer evidence-based small group programs designed to support kids who may feel anxious or shy in social settings. Last week, we welcomed Gabrielle Morrissey Ph.D., CEO of Women & Children First, to one of our regular Lunch & Learn sessions. Dr. Morrissey's insights into supporting women and children escaping domestic violence were invaluable to our multi-disciplinary team. Our time with her sparked important conversations and provided our team with additional resources to better serve vulnerable families in our community.
