In the month of July, as we welcomed the new financial year with excitement for what is to come, we were incredibly proud to announce not just one but two Support Office Champions. We are excited to include our amazing Offshore team in every Support Office Champion celebration as our new initiative for this financial year. This month’s Support Office Champions for July are Hilary Kwan and Emma Carandang. Both are true superstars, excelling in their roles—Hilary as Senior Finance Manager and Emma as Supply Chain Coordinator (Offshore)—and contributing significantly to their teams and to Mad Mex Support Office and Operations. ❤️ 💚 Hilary successfully closed the end of the financial year on time while managing significant balance sheet changes, showcasing remarkable dedication and exceptional contributions to the finance team. Meanwhile, Emma led the Supply Chain during her manager's absence, excelling significantly in her role. Congratulations to our State Manager - Victoria, David Himmelfarb, for winning our June Support Office Champion of the Month Award! 🏆 David has truly stood out since he started, and in his first six months in this role, he has achieved remarkable milestones. He successfully opened a new restaurant in Victoria Gardens, Richmond just a week before Christmas, managed the successful handover of multiple other restaurants to our new Franchise Partners, reopened two CBD restaurants in Bourke St and Southern Cross Tower, and facilitated another new restaurant opening in Parkmore, Keysborough earlier this month. We had the pleasure of recently teaming up with Samuel Burke from Meat & Livestock Australia to craft our latest filling ‘Carne Asada’ (Grilled Steak). Through collaborating with Meat & Livestock Australia we were able to source the most tender flank steak's to then be marinated in authentic herbs and spices before being grilled to perfection and served fresh in restaurant everyday. Carne Asada is available to add to any main item at every Mad Mex across Australia, for a limited time only 🥩🌯 A big thank you to everyone involved in helping to craft our latest filling on the menu, which shares our passion for supporting 100% Australian beef from Aussie farmers.
