Introducing MAP Mentality: "Mindful Actions, Meaningful Impact" 🧠 ⭐️ 🖤 After months of planning, we're excited to announce our new initiative, MAP Mentality, which aims to prioritise well-being across our organisation and beyond. The recent Employment Hero "Wellness at Work" report 2024 highlighted some concerning statistics: - Burnout among employees has surged to 66% in 2024 - 85% of employees experience stress at least a few times a month - 39% feel stressed several days a week. While our initiative was already in the works, these findings reaffirm the urgent need for action within the workplace. That’s where MAP Mentality comes in. As our motto, "Mindful Actions, Meaningful Impact," suggests, this initiative is about creating a culture of physical and mental wellness, promoting gratitude, and giving back to causes close to our hearts. It’s designed to benefit not only our employees but also our clients, contractors and the wider community. At MAP Talent, our purpose extends beyond profit and is embedded in our day-to-day operations. Through MAP Mentality, we aim to create a positive and lasting impact on the lives of everyone we connect with. We recently kicked off our first MAP Mentality event last Friday at our office in Sydney CBD. The Right to Disconnect 🧘🏼♀️🌞 Very fitting for today with the Right to Disconnect law coming into effect in Australia! Here’s my idea of disconnecting during my lunchtime walk (the northern England in me still very much screams dinnner time walk) — earphones in, world of work out. At MAP TALENT our 1.5-hour lunch break gives us all a chance to relax, rest, and reset. With the majority of the team attending group gym sessions, some of us going on a walk and of course, catching that much-needed vitamin D, we make the most of this time to recharge and boost our mental clarity and well-being. This ties in perfectly with a new initiative we’re launching TOMORROW and it's something we're all very excited about. Keep an eye out 👁️⏰ How are you disconnecting today? 🌟 (P.S. This is what I love about recruitment! Chocolate bouquets, go on then. When you know you've been able to help someone land a role who may have not applied for a role but you gave them that extra confident boost that they could do the role. 🤗 Nothing beats genuinely helping people find opportunities and connecting them with businesses you know would be a great fit for them. On the flipside, it's even more satisfying knowing you've done a good job saving time and resources for the client if they've been searching for a while. And... in this case, the client had been searching for 4 months... 1 week later after working with the data team at MAP TALENT, search over.
