Our team has been hugely encouraged by the interest that we are seeing around chronologies and learning how they can better be drafted. The creation and management of chronologies—crucial documents particularly in litigation and disputes—is in most cases, both hugely cumbersome and time intensive. We are starting to see a wide range of law firms across many areas of law recognise that efficiency and accuracy in building these detailed timelines is set to fundamentally shift the nature of work in many firms. As our platform continues to grow, one of the key focuses will be around allowing team members to contribute and edit in real-time, ensuring that every piece of information is up-to-date and accurately reflects case developments. The hope here is to facilitate a more dynamic approach to chronology creation and ensure that all updates are instantly accessible to the entire legal team, wherever they are. This seamless integration of information should significantly reduces delay and errors that can occur with manual updates. If you are interested in learning more about how we can help eliminate this incredibly painful task at your firm, please let us know and we will be delighted to show you our software.

Accuracy in legal chronologies is paramount. These documents play a critical role in understanding the sequence of events in legal disputes. To improve precision and reduce the likelihood of human error, more law firms are turning to AI-driven tools. These technologies offer advanced data processing capabilities that can analyse vast amounts of information quickly and with a high degree of accuracy, identifying relevant details that need to be included in chronologies. AI-driven tools can do things that are typically incredibly time-consuming, such as update chronologies as new client information becomes available, ensuring that legal teams always have the most current information at their disposal. As AI technology continues to advance, its integration into legal practice, especially in the creation and management of chronologies, will become a standard practice for law firms.

The legal industry is on the cusp of a major transformation as AI and LLMs make their mark on legal software development. Traditionally, law firms have relied on low-code or no-code platforms to simplify the creation of customised software solutions. However, these platforms often lack the flexibility needed to handle the complex, nuanced challenges inherent in legal work, such as managing and creating detailed legal chronologies. Large language models offer a groundbreaking alternative. LLMs can assist in automating the drafting and continuous updating of legal chronologies—tasks that previously required extensive manual intervention. This capability is particularly valuable in managing the sequence of events and related data that are critical for accurate legal analyses and case timelines. This shift not only enhances the customisation and precision of legal tools but also significantly reduces the limitations faced by conventional low or no-code solutions. For law firms, incorporating LLMs means creating software that can adapt more dynamically to the specific legal contexts and client needs without sacrificing scalability or efficiency. The integration of these advanced AI technologies is set to redefine how firms approach everything from routine documentation to complex legal analyses, paving the way for more efficient, accurate, and innovative legal services.

We are thrilled to release the latest edition of the Legal Tech Map 🗺 for 2024. The map features over 200+ technology companies and services who are currently reshaping the legal landscape (with a slight bias towards our Aussie mates 😜 ). Gen AI has been relentlessly dominating our feeds, but it’s important to recognise the ecosystem of incredible legal technology providers who have been at the forefront of legal innovation for years. This year we've added 40+ new technology start-ups to the map. Unsurprisingly, LLMs were a central feature in more than half of the new additions. Contract drafting and review solutions were also a category that grew significantly. You can download a searchable PDF version of the map from our website, link in the comments below. -- With the LEGAL INNOVATION & TECH FEST in Sydney just around the corner we've put a spotlight on some of the participating providers you'll find on the Legal Tech Map. If you’re coming to the conference, please swing by and have a chat with the TILT Legal team! -- PS if you’re a tech provider and feel you’ve been left out from the map, we’d love to hear from you! Please drop a line in the comments. #legalops #legaltech #legalinnovation #LegalFestival

Law firms often face the challenge of delivering high-quality legal advice that addresses complex matters within their staff resourcing constraints, needing to complete work within reasonable timeframes to offer competitive pricing and maintain high-quality service simultaneously. This balance is about managing costs and resource allocation to ensure that client needs are met without compromising on service quality. At Mary Technology, we are committed to pushing this endeavour forward. We provide innovative solutions to help law firms navigate the intricate dynamics of quality, complexity, and cost. Our technology can play a crucial role in managing these trade-offs effectively. By automating the creation and management of legal chronologies, we help firms drastically cut down the hours traditionally spent on this labour-intensive task. This both decreases costs but also allows more time to comprehend key information and provide high-quality legal advice. The application of our technology enhances the accuracy and drafting speed of chronologies, maintaining high standards of cost-effective legal solutions.
