On 10 October 2023 the Strata Legislation Amendment Bill was tabled in NSW Parliament. This new legislation is expected to become law in early December. The bill reflects a number of amendments to: 1. The Strata Schemes Management Act 2. The Strata Schemes Development Act 3. The Community Land Management Act 4. The Community and Development Act These changes have been proposed following the 5 Year Statutory law review, and are Stage 1 of 139 Recommendations to amend current legislation that were made during the public consultation period.
