Let’s keep the conversation going regarding child protection The theme for this year’s National Child Protection Week is “Every Conversation Matters.” National Child Protection Week (which ends on 7 September) was created by the National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) and is designed to engage, educate and empower Australians to understand the complexity of child abuse and neglect and how to work together to prevent it. Nicholes Family Lawyers commends NAPCAN on its work on National Child Protection Week and encourages everyone to keep the conversation about how to support and protect children going after the week finishes, because, as NAPCAN says: “Every Conversation Matters.” A simple ‘Let’s talk’ or ‘You are not alone’ can be the start of helping a child feel heard and safe. #auslaw #familylaw #childprotection #childsafety #EveryConversationMatters #NCPW2024
