Last week, Sport Integrity Australia delivered the last of three Managing Integrity in Sport courses which were hosted by the Office of Sport for our State Sporting Organisations. The courses stood out for the comprehensive approach to maintaining the highest standards of integrity within the sporting world and covered topics such as Safeguarding, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Anti-Doping and Competition Manipulation, Managing Complaints and Disputes. Feedback from Participants was positive as they gained a greater knowledge of the subject and new tools that will enhance their ability to uphold integrity in their roles. Earlier in the week, Office of Sport Core Executive with representatives from each of their departments spent time volunteering at Foodbank Australia From dividing 1,995kgs of carrots into 3kg bags to boxing up nearly 600 cartons of plant-based milks, this experience had it all! Altogether the Office of Sport team packed and sorted 4,605kgs of produce, enough to make 8,289 meals. As part of this initiative, 75kgs of pantry items were collected from our offices, centres and venues and donated to Foodbank. A fantastic experience for our staff to contribute to Foodbank Australia, as they work to help those in need across NSW and the ACT.

This year, the Office of Sport Executive Team and staff will be volunteering at Foodbank, the largest hunger relief charity in Australia. As part of this initiative, we're collecting pantry items such as tinned food, pasta etc. that will be donated to Foodbank later in the month. To kick-start our collection our Sydney Olympic Park office held a winter warmer lunch. A special mention to our Social Club for organising the lunch and for all staff who brought in a dish to share!
