The Orijen Group is a boutique consultancy committed to building diverse and inclusive workplaces - to ensuring a level playing field where women and men have equal opportunities for success. With extensive experience in culture change, we believe that with real commitment organisations can create working environments that are not only productive and sustainable, but also innovative, collaborative and healthy for all workers. We have been providing HR advice and training to organisations since 1998 and in 2014 our CEO, Jenny Morris, was recognised in The Australian Financial Review's 100 Women of Influence award for her contribution to "creating a bolder and more diverse future for all Australians". Our proven success is based on our flexibility to meet your organisation's requirements and to ground the program in careful analysis, planning, measurement and diligent follow through. Our extensive research into mentoring and coaching has identified the major factors that impact the effectiveness of programs. Our consulting experience enables us to put this knowledge to work. When introducing a program we work with your business to: * Align the program with your strategic business goals * Define the key objectives and desired outcomes * Identify individuals who will benefit from the program * Assess and select appropriate mentors * Provide initial and on-going training for mentors * Facilitate individual and group assessment and feedback sessions * Provide on-going monitoring and evaluation of the program Orijen update: * The 22nd and 23rd DellWITEM mentoring programs were launched in April 2017 in Canberra. 24 CIO's & SES from across the APS have been matched with senior EL2 women in the 12 month mentoring program. Ten years after the program won the "Outstanding Initiative / Result for the Advancement of Women in the Workplace" award at the EOWA Awards, it continues to accelerate the development of leadership skills of women within the predominantly male IT industry. * More than 350 women have participated in the 12 month Women in ICT Coaching Circles for EL1 women in IT in the APS, in Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane. *Coaching and mentoring circles for women were launched in Department of Defence and in DSTG in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide and in Department of Home Affairs. *The Sydney University Vice Chancellor's Sponsorship Program was launched in September 2015, and the Professional Women's mentoring program launched in March 2016. * Other programs include the NRL womens mentoring program and Penrith City Council Mentoring Program for emerging leaders.
