We’re excited to share that the new Covered Outdoor Learning Area at Kardinia International College is complete—and it’s a beauty! The construction of the 1,200m² Covered Outdoor Learning Area involved strategically repositioning infrastructure to improve functionality, as well as upgrading the northern pavements and garden beds. The old sports courts have been replaced with a larger and more functional space for outdoor activities and recreation for the students to enjoy. It was a pleasure to join the 171 Collins Street project team last fortnight for a volunteering session with FareShare. Together, we helped prepare thousands of meals for those in need in our community. Together we sealed and hot packed 1883 single-serve tray meals, unpacked a pallet of assorted vegetable packets donated by Hello Fresh, totalling around 400kg and assisted with the essential kitchen clean-up and reset at the end of the shift. It was a rewarding afternoon, and we look forward to continuing our support for Fare Share. Many thanks to everyone who volunteered their time, including teams from 3-point Australia, Charter Hall, Knight Frank Australia, and Hassell. 🙏🧡
