Our Change Management Practice launched just over a year ago and has had immense success as we maintained a customer satisfaction score of 100%. (This score includes over 30 client responses and over 680 data points.) How did we do it?   🎯 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 An example of this was with a client preparing for a $21M digital change to their service offering by optimising their online transactions. Our Senior Change Manager undertook a review of the desired metrics to understand how this change would help the client realise their intended benefits. Over a year, we were able to put service measures in place to track the effectiveness of our Change Management interventions, which demonstrated that we produced the desired outcomes.   📋 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐞-𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 An example of this was with a client that was developing a business case for a multi-year $250M platform change. Our Change Management team shaped the early thinking and input for the business case with in-depth consultation with over 15 business groups to understand and analyse the planned changes across people, process, technology and customer lenses. This was used to provide accurate resourcing and associated cost estimates as well as the overarching Change Management Strategy with target measures, which received Board approval.   ⚖ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 Our Change Managers hold multiple certifications and all attend regular quality assurance reviews when delivering client work. Two examples of the additional value that our clients have seen were when we immediately backfilled a Change team member, who needed to travel overseas for a funeral, as well as when we offered free bench support to reduce pressure immediately following a scope change.   These key elements have shaped our clients’ experience with us over our first year, and we’re just getting started! 💯 How would you describe a valuable Change Manager?   #changemanagement #projectmanagement #leadership #strategy #management

On the 27th of July, Seven Consulting remained true to its commitment to making a positive impact by providing aid to the victims of Typhoon Carina in the Philippines. Our team was compelled to provide impromptu support to the emergency response unfolding as Typhoon Carina affected more than one million Filipinos, forcing them to evacuate their homes and putting them at risk of illnesses.   Our team played an active role in the initiative from buying and delivering essentials such as food and hygiene items, to working alongside other volunteers to prepare relief packs. These inspiring relief operations were organised by Tanging Yaman Foundation, whose purpose is to bridge the generosity of its donors and volunteers to the vital needs of people in the Philippines. We are proud that we had the ability to be part of the response and make a difference in the lives of Filipinos families! Thank you to all the women who attended the latest event in our Creating Pathways for Women in Project Delivery series last night on “Understanding the Role of Sponsors, Mentors, Peers, and Coaches in Professional Growth.”   We are very grateful to our incredible speakers, Geraldine Chin Moody GAICD and Tania Hyde, for sharing their insights and experiences on the topic. They provided thoughtful answers and feedback to some great questions and shared stories from our participants.   Together, we explored the roles that sponsors, mentors, peers, and coaches play in our professional journeys. We discussed the differences, similarities, intersections, and overlaps across these roles, and how to initiate and get the most value from these relationships. We also shared some key learnings we’ve gained from our sponsors, coaches, mentors, and peers, as well as from performing those roles for others.   Key Takeaways were: 1. We encounter a variety of people in our professional lives, both positive and challenging. Each interaction offers valuable lessons. 2. Sponsors and mentors can come from any part of your professional or personal network.
