The South Australian Tourism Commission is committed to growing the state's visitor economy to $12.8 billion by 2030.

About us

The South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) is responsible for promoting our state as a tourism destination. We do this by marketing South Australia to key tourism markets and bringing new and exciting events and festivals to the state. Tourism is an important driver of our state’s economy. Much of the economic benefit it brings to the state flows to regional communities and it has a positive impact on other industries such as agriculture, wine, retail, education, real estate and transport. With a clear vision to grow tourism in South Australia, our South Australian Visitor Economy Sector Plan 2030 aims to increase visitor spend to $12.8 billion, generating 52,000 jobs.

The major winner was SA’s own IMPERIAL MEASURES DISTILLING, which received five of the 11 awards - including the two major categories: Best Distiller and the Premier’s Spirit Award. A testament to the growing reputation of the awards, the total 215 entries received for this year’s competition represented every state and territory for the first time.
