Today, we celebrated the launch of an extra special partnership with Special Olympics Australia at the My Plan Manager HQ! 🎉 Our driving vision is to create a fair and inclusive Australia where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential, so it’s a privilege to join forces with an organisation providing phenomenal opportunities to people with intellectual disability, developmental delay and autism.   We can’t wait to support athletes like Krystel, Madi, Mia and Jack (pictured) plus their biggest fans (their families and supporters!) with education that unlocks the potential of their NDIS funding.   Thank you to the athletes, their supporters, Special Olympics Australia CEO Pierre Comis, and Special Olympics Australia State Manager (SA) Matthew Pearson for helping our CEO Jane Kittel and the entire My Plan Manager team to celebrate our partnership launch.   Together, we can bring sport, joy and inclusion to more people with disability!   Ps. This week we’ll share more about Krystel, Madi, Mia and Jack and what they’ve achieved with Special Olympics Australia behind them…   #MyPlanManager #SpecialOlympicsAustralia #Partnership #NDIS #PlanManagement #Sport #Joy #Inclusion #Community

  • One year ago today, 64 athletes and 28 officials representing Team Australia proudly marched into the Opening Ceremony of the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin in front of 60,000 cheering fans. It was the first World Games for over 90% of athletes on the team and they had the experience of a lifetime. Congratulations to volunteer Moira Ryde (Victoria) for receiving an OAM in the King’s Birthday Honours List for her dedicated service to people with disability. This is a well deserved honour, with many years of dedication to Special Olympics at all levels, so we’re delighted to share this flashback from the treasure box. This is Moira with Steven White and David Camenzuli, who are still training and competing with Melbourne Southern club. The other athlete Chris is no longer a member but Chris and Moira do catch up. Moira taught them all to swim and is seen here preparing them for the National Games in Perth...way back in 1992! Congratulations Moira on being recognised with an OAM, and thank your commitment and kindness.🎉

  • Good luck to the 28 Special Olympics Australia athletes – and all fellow competitors – who are competing in bocce at the National Disability Championship in Perth this weekend. This is a premier event for bocce and it is the second year that Bocce Australia have included a Special Olympics Australia category. We are delighted that Bocce Australia is one of our Sporting Partners and we applaud them for choosing to include. #ChooseToInclude
