St Andrew's Ballina is thrilled to announce the official opening of its refurbished areas in the Residential Aged Care facility on Friday, 23 February, marking a significant milestone in the enhancement of the facility. Local dignitaries, community representatives, former staff of St Andrew’s joined the residents, Board members and staff in the celebrations. St Andrew’s would like to sincerely thank Paynters for the design and project management of the refurbishment work. Todd Yourell, Chief Executive Officer, said “the revitalised area reflects our dedication to creating a welcome and comfortable space that fosters well-being and community engagement. We remain committed to our mission of enriching the lives of our residents and fostering a vibrant community.” St Andrew’s has made significant improvements to Dianella Square (Resident space, Lounges, Kitchen), Reception, Café, Hairdressing salon, office spaces and walkways through other wings. This comes on top of the updates to the bedroom furnishings and nurse call system in the last 12 months.
