Suncorp Consumer Insurance CEO Lisa Harrison brought the challenge of building resilience to extreme weather to the forefront alongside a panel of community and business leaders at the News Corp Australia 2024 National Bush Summit in #Townsville.  Joined by Hon Robbie Katter MP, Gavin Williams from nbn® Australia, Dale Acton from Woolworths Group and moderator and editor of The Weekly Times James Wagstaff, panel discussions centered around keeping the regions connected and closing the gap to the cities.    Ms Harrison highlighted the need to listen to communities about the issues that matter, and the importance of local employment, including those with lived experience of extreme weather. She also spoke about the role of partnering with local suppliers to help rebuild post natural disasters. As we farewell an eventful #FY24, we reflect on a year of significant technological achievements within Suncorp. We hit some major tech milestones that are reshaping the way we serve our insurance customers and empower our people.
