Next up on the Gnomes trip around Canberra is the National Gallery of Australia! Paddy has always been one to keep It Personal, recognising what makes each person unique and how best to nurture their own attributes to bloom into something spectacular. One of the many incredible locations in Canberra, the National Gallery of Australia is our country's national art museum as well as the largest art museum in Australia, being the home of more than 166,000 works of art. Each piece of art is a representation of the artist's individual expression and what makes them unique. Synergy Group is proud to be the principal sponsor of Floriade for our third year in a row. This year at Floriade we’re embracing the Art in Bloom theme, transforming the park into a vibrant tapestry of colour and creativity. Garden bed designs will be inspired by painting, sculpture, architecture, literature, music, threatre and cinema. We can't wait to see you all there. #SynergyGroup #Floriade2024 #Floriade #VisitCBR #EventsCanberra #Community #ItsPersonal #ActAsOne #PlayWithImpact Events ACT

The Synergy Group gnomes have been making their way through Canberra as they travel to Floriade just in time for spring. Their first stop is the Australian War Memorial! Horace the gnome had the opportunity to visit the Australian War Memorial which represents Australia's remembrance of Australian veterans who have served and given their lives for our great nation. Horace believes in being "Honest to Self and All, at Synergy Group, honesty and integrity are at the heart of everything we do. The Australian War Memorial is a place of deep reflection and tribute to veterans willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Synergy Group has been a proud supporter of the veteran community for many years, through our support of charity organisations such as Soldier On Australia who have set out to make the transition from service to civilian life easier for veterans exiting their life in uniform. If you'd like to support an outstanding organisation like Soldier On Australia, please visit their website and consider donating: https://loom.ly/ft98d1Y #SynergyGroup #Floriade2024 #Floriade #VisitCBR #EventsCanberra #Community #ItsPersonal #ActAsOne #PlayWithImpact Events ACT

It was great to be back at this year’s IIA Public Sector Assurance Forum. The conference provided a platform for starting a conversation and new perspectives in how contemporary thinking can help solve current and emerging challenges we face across wellbeing and mental health, cyber security and data integrity, building strength through capability to climate reporting. The sector faces another change with the introduction of Global Internal Audit StandardsTM allowing internal audit functions a one-year transitional period. At Synergy Group, we are supporting our clients through strong partnerships to prepare for the organisational change to enable a smooth transition by 2025. https://loom.ly/k1se27E We want to thank Shiv Goundar, Hayley Tonkin, Rebecca Gilbert, and Susanne Kennedy for attending today's event on behalf of Synergy Group! #SynergyGroup #PositivelyCharged #PlayWithImpact #HonestToSelfAndAll

Australia’s aged care sector has been failing our elderly. The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) is striving to change that. In 2021, the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety published findings that amplified the need for urgent action. The Commission described the sector as “woefully inadequate” and stated “many people receiving aged care services have their basic human rights denied”. It also highlighted that the sector was experiencing overburdensome regulation, yet this was ineffectively addressing risk. The recommendations provided by the Royal Commission prompted a once-in-a-generation regulatory reform, including the Aged Care Act and ACQSC (our national regulator) strengthening the capacity and capabilities of their Quality Assessors. The ACQSC engaged ThinkPlace and our partners at The Ed Institute to design an innovative learning environment to better support Quality Assessors and their job-readiness. The result is an enduring Learning & Development journey that creates a better-equipped workforce. The Synergy Group Team began their ride this week for the DonateLife ACT Cycling Challenge 2024 Sponsored by Synergy Law! We had a fantastic turnout of cyclists all over Canberra participating in the week-long cycling week to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation in Australia riding towards their goal of 360 km. It's important to be aware of how crucial organ and tissue donation can be for those who are in need. Registering as an organ donor is a simple, one-minute process that can help save up to seven lives. We'd like to again thank our incredible team of Synergites: Bobbi Campbell, Josh Ryan, Chloe Hosking OLY, and Mark Vardy who are participating in Donate Life Week on Synergy Group's behalf!
