Is your NFP prepared for the unexpected? How much time and effort went into your most recent insurance renewal? Did the broker perform the deep analysis to identify and quantify the risks? Were you educated and informed throughout the process, or just paid an invoice? At our next NFP Round Table session, on the 12th of September at 10am, we’re bringing in insurance experts Blaize and Mel to uncover the mysteries and traps of insurance to ensure your organisation is getting value for money. Join us and learn how to reduce the time and financial impact of tendering for insurance every year, evaluate "unknown knowns" to anticipate adverse events, and where the underwriters make their profit (and your opportunity to drive a better deal)! As adults, how do we find a space to be vulnerable and connect with our community? In our fast-paced world, creating spaces where men can truly open up and connect is more important than ever. At our recent NFP Round Table session, Tim Hewson from Mongrels Men Health & Wellbeing shared his journey in establishing supportive communities for men to engage in honest, meaningful conversations. The session highlighted the significant challenges faced by organisations like Mongrels Men—from scaling a volunteer-driven initiative to navigating legal and regulatory complexities. Yet, what stood out most was the collective commitment of our participants to support each other through shared expertise and resources. After the session, we caught up with Ben from Impaktful to get his key takeaways. He provided valuable insights on the importance of these discussions and having safe spaces.
