    "The trickiest metrics to gather in recruiting are strategic metrics that measure the business outcomes - you have just delivered some on our plate" This was a quote from a seasoned Head of Recruitment who had been struggling to find strategic insights to report to his C-Suite.     When we first started talking to this Benchmarcx customer they said they delivered a "great" candidate experience. When I asked them "Compared to who?.....your candidates are apply to other companies at the same time as you", the penny suddenly dropped. Here is just one of the many candidate touch points that they started measuring with us - the application experience which also includes the careers site/job ad content. As you can see they were not delivering as great an experience as their competitors for talent. So using our next level of benchmark data (not shown) they were able to work on areas where competitors for talent were more competitive. 6 months later, here is their result. #recruitment #talentacquisition #candidateexperience #HR Toby McKinnon

    We recently launched CBI Recruiter - The Circle Back Initiative's offering for individual recruitment professionals. The response has been terrific and we've been inundated with interest. As a result, we'll be announcing an expanded offering in the months ahead. CBI was created initially to encourage a consistently higher level of service across the recruitment landscape as a whole. One area that is often criticised, rightly or wrongly, for a lack of candidate care is recruitment agencies.     This one’s for the recruiters. Hiring Managers please look away. Now they have gone, let’s admit one of the most frustrating things about recruitment is hiring managers delays, changes in brief, slow to book interviews, the quality of interview etc. The latter is a particularly worrying one for recruiters as we are generally not present so don’t know what’s happening. We have all experienced it. I used to bang my head against a brick wall trying to convince them that we will lose candidates, candidates won’t chose us or we need to provide a better candidate experience. The problem was that they just didn’t see the bigger picture and I couldn’t back up my point with evidence. So it’s no wonder one of the most favourite features on Benchmarcx is for recruiters to be able to show them the bigger picture with data that counts. Our CX datasets, available 24/7 and updated in real-time arm recruiters with benchmark data to show how the employer (and even the hiring manager) compares to other employers and hiring managers hiring the same talent (that’s the bigger picture). Essentially you can, with confidence and the evidence say, for example - “Hey our competitors are hiring X talent faster than us” or “Can we work together on how we sell the role and organisation in interviews as when hiring x skill/role we are not doing it as well as others” For B2C employers we can even say “X% of your candidates have been customers. The experience we are giving at interview could be costing (or even creating) revenue of X”. It’s game changing data - after all Candidate Experience is a team sport not just a Recruitment responsibility. Elevating CX in interviews and Hiring manager engagement is elevating recruitment conversations with stakeholders. It’s another reason why recruitment leaders are turning to our awarding winning, globally unique, advanced candidate experience analytics.
