  Ticketmaster Australia has partnered with Cancer Council Australia for the second year in a row and raised $33,828 for the cause.    Across February and March, Ticketmaster Australia set out to raise funds for Cancer Council Australia as part of the global Ticketmaster World Cancer Day initiative. Strong Italian flavours swept across Perth last week for the Italian Festival of Football, when Serie A clubs AC Milan and AS Roma played an exhilarating historic match on Friday night at Optus Stadium in front of 56,522 fans. Thousands of out-of-state visitors and WA locals joined in five days of festivities which saw 5,432 fans attend open training sessions, and hundreds of others enjoying Italian flair at pre-match fan parties, fan marches, a junior football parade, grassroots activities and even a Little Italy Festival at Dorrien Gardens and the Italian Club the next day. Construction is now underway on this unique, intimate theatre nestled within the prestigious Sydney Lyric. Presenting a wide variety of premium entertainment, patrons are immersed in a theatrical journey where anything is possible. With the production close enough to touch, performers and audience intertwine in a theatre where no two visits will be the same. Foundry Theatre is scheduled to open at the end of 2024. Last week, Ticketmaster, Live Nation APAC & Moshtix attended the 31st Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress hosted by the Venue Management Association (Asia and Pacific), represented by our very own Joshua McGuane, as well as Luke Hede and Meagan Walker from Live Nation.    Held in Brisbane this year, the congress is a significant networking opportunity for professionals in ticketing, promotion, and venues across the Asia Pacific.   🎟️ Josh was featured on the ‘Ticketing in 2024’ panel, which discussed the new technologies and tools worth investing in to stay ahead of the curve and deliver seamless ticketing experiences.    🎸 While Luke was featured on the Promoters Panel, where he discussed what’s next in the live entertainment world following the biggest year in touring, and Meagan was featured on the ‘Rise of Heritage Venues’ panel, where she discussed the value in maintaining some of Australia’s most iconic heritage venues, and Live Nation’s investment across our venue portfolio.   As with every VMA Congress, we also held our annual Ticketmaster VMA Client Soirée. This year, we hosted at The Outpost inside Fortitude Music Hall. Here we connected with industry leaders across sports, theatre, comedy, and music, and heard from Live Nation ANZ Chairman Michael Coppell on all things P!NK on the back of her record-breaking Summer Carnival Tour earlier this year.    The congress and the Soirée were both incredible opportunities for our teams to connect with our valued clients across three incredible days, and we are already excited for 2025!   #Ticketmaster #VMACongress
