To show our support for National Bullying No Way Week (12th-16th August) we hosted Sally Sweeney Head of Dolly’s Dream, at the Toyota Centre of Excellence. Dolly's Dream is committed to changing the culture of bullying, through education and providing direct support for young people. Sally spoke to our teammates about impacts of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide in Australia, and the organisation’s mission for change. We were lucky to attend Grad Girls - Women 4 STEM a Women 4 Stem careers and networking event held in North Melbourne last month. The 150 students who attended the event had the opportunity to learn about the diverse STEM career pathways of our Toyota teammates. We were so excited to host the Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix at the Toyota Centre of Excellence in Altona 🏁 In partnership with H2GP Foundation, we enabled 10 schools to participate in the event in which they designed, constructed and raced model hydrogen fuel cell race cars. This contribution was part of the Toyota Community Trust, supporting STEM education for future generations and generating pathways to a more sustainable future. Toyota Australia demonstrated the GEH2 at the Blue Diamond, Rocklea branch signifying the first live deployment of Hydrogen powered generators in Queensland. An educational demonstration allowed representatives from the construction, education, government and production industries to see the GEH2 hydrogen generators in action.
