Did you know August is TwentyTwo's birth-month?! Well, now you do! 🌈✨ It's not a birthday without getting sentimental, so let's take you for a trip down memory lane... Let's chat about our feats and challenges along the way. (For the TL;DR, just tap through the piccies 😉) 💡 THE IDEA: Sarah Pelecanos created TwentyTwo Digital in 2019 with a vision for a marketing agency that lives and breathes data-driven strategy! It's a cluttered industry, but that was no match for Sarah's passion. 🏠 OUR FIRST HOME: Our humble beginnings were in a shared office space with just enough room for two staff and a fairy floss machine (the bare necessities!) It was cramped for sure and it's tough working shoulder to shoulder, but we had to start somewhere. 🌱 OUR GROWTH: We quickly outgrew that shared space, as our family got bigger and bigger to meet our growing list of clients. It wasn't long before we moved to an office of our own! 👩👩👧👧 HIRING IS HARD: Our client base continued to grow, which meant we had to continue to hire. It's never easy finding staff that not only have the skillset and motivation, but also who will be the right fit for your mission and culture. We refined our hiring process over the years to be more and more effective. 😷 COVID: Being a startup during COVID was HARD! Balancing all the new regulations and uncertainty was scary for a new business. We did everything we could and put our trust into working from home in such early days. Luckily, we made it through! 🧘♂️ FLEXIBILITY: Managing the post-COVID effects was another challenge we conquered as a team. As employees shift to wanting more flexibility, we carefully implemented our processes to suit everyone's needs. With one work from home day per week, and a 9-day fortnight, we've managed to boost productivity, engagement, and happiness! ✨ THE FUTURE: We've accomplished a lot over the years and are currently 2 years ahead of our 5-year plan (woo!) but it hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows. Our team is dedicated and makes everything possible with their hard work.
