Each year, we come together to celebrate our team's individual and collective successes at our End of Financial Year event. This year was nothing short of spectacular as we honoured our team's outstanding achievements and spotlighted a few exceptional individuals who have delivered remarkable results over the past financial year. We are thrilled to announce that Daniel Mills has clinched the Champion Broker of the Year award for the second consecutive year! Congratulations also go to Laura Biggs and Marseil H. for securing impressive second and third places, respectively. In the People’s Choice Awards, Kim Goodear emerged victorious, while Leah Bruderlin was named Employee of the Year. Additionally, Boris Rikalo was honoured with the Champion Advisor of the Year award. Broker market share hits a new high, with brokers writing 74.1% of new loans in Jan-Mar 2024. This sees an increase of 4.5% compared to the previous record of 71.8% reached during the Oct-Dec 2023 quarter, solidifying brokers as a borrowers first choice. In the January to March quarter, the total value of loans brokered amounted to $81.47 billion, marking a decrease of $12.59 billion compared to December 2023. Despite this decline, the loan value for March represented a 3.7% year-on-year increase and stood as the second-highest value recorded in the March quarter, as reported by the MFFA. MFAA CEO Anja Pannek emphasises brokers' invaluable role suggesting "Mortgage brokers offer personalised guidance and support throughout the entire home loan process... The value they offer cannot be underestimated." Pannek proposes that the rise in broker market share in recent years stems from the trust buyers place in brokers nationwide., reinforcing “Australians are making the choice to go through mortgage brokers, and its about more than an interest rate”

Meet a few of our incredible team members from the Philippines, who we've flown down to Melbourne to join our onshore team at UFinancial HQ! 🇵🇭✈️ After collaborating virtually since 2018 and 2019, it's great to finally have them here, working side by side with our local team.
