The Woolworths Trolley Tracker Report looks at the evolving purchasing behaviour of grocery customers within our business in the context of current cost of living pressures and rising inflation. The inaugural report shows that our customers have been increasingly leveraging ‘value-seeking behaviours’ in order to stretch their spend. Strong moderation of inflation has also led to stabilisation of grocery spend over the past year - including across most major categories of spend by our customers. To read the full report: https://lnkd.in/dSC6CcEh The report is based on customer insights gathered by Wiq, part of Woolworths Group.

We teamed up with Variety - the Children's Charity NSW/ACT to deliver a brand new Variety Sunshine Coach to students at Cecil Hills High School. The new school bus rolled up for students in their Support Unit to explore, with three spots that were modified to accommodate students like Aylin in wheelchairs. Head Teacher Kelly Ford said the new vehicle will improve the quality of life for students at the school with disabilities, who can now be included in school events and community activities, while also reducing the cost of excursions for parents. This is one of two Variety Sunshine Coaches that we’ve been able to support, funded via our donations to Variety NSW/ACT, as well as in-store fundraising activity. The school bus has already taken Cecil Hills High students on excursions, including on a trip to our local store to practise using shopping lists. Check it out below. Did you know that over the course of the 2024 netball season, over 50,000 Woolworths NetSetGO kids have taken to the court around the country? Talk about net-working!    For over seven years, Woolworths has been proudly supporting Netball Australia and since 2022 has been a proud supporter of Woolworths NetSetGO. The program is Netball Australia’s official grassroots program for girls and boys aged five to ten and provides an opportunity to learn netball basics while encouraging kids to enjoy the outdoors and of course have fun and make new friends.    The program also allows kids to be a very important part of the Suncorp Super Netball experience. Whether it’s running out at games alongside their netball idols or taking to the court at half time, the kids are front row and centre and that’s exactly what happened when the Adelaide Thunderbirds took on, the Melbourne Vixens at the 2024 Grand Final last week. A big congratulations to the Adelaide Thunderbirds for taking out the win!    Twenty-four excited Woolworths NetSetGO participants from Heathfield Netball Club, were given the opportunity to stand with their heroes from both teams during the National Anthem and Welcome to Country, and eleven of our Woolworths NetSetGO participants from Heathfield also had the honour of presenting the winning Adelaide Thunderbirds team with their medals at the winners ceremony.   Throughout this partnership, Woolworths has supported over $1.4 million worth of grants to local netball clubs enabling them to upgrade their equipment and make it more cost effective for more kids to play netball. Meet Con Poulos, the proud store manager of Cabramatta Woolworths, where inclusive leadership and community engagement go hand in hand. "We have a lot of fun. When it's serious, we get stuck into the work. It's the people that make the store. I’m lucky to work with a great team. It makes it easy for me to come to work each day and enjoy my day," says Con. Con believes in treating everyone with equal respect, creating a culture where everyone feels valued. Some of his staff have been in the same store for 35 years! “Probably 50 per cent of our team is of Asian heritage,” says Con. “We can speak multiple languages. We have team members that can speak Vietnamese, Cantonese and Mandarin to cater to our customers.” From celebrating cultural festivals, such as the Moon Festival and Lunar New Year, to catering to the unique needs of the community, Con and his team have transformed Cabramatta Woolworths into a hub of cultural diversity and community spirit. "It’s a market atmosphere, and that's one of the unique qualities of the store. Our customers here want to touch, feel, and really visualise what they're buying in some instances. "Cabramatta is a great example of where we've got many areas of diversity, both from a customer point of view and a team point of view, and that really showcases what a team can achieve. Thank you, Con, for your exceptional leadership and for making Cabramatta Woolworths a shining example of community engagement and diversity in action. It’s the start of a very special Dignity Drive. Share the Dignity is celebrating its 20th August Dignity Drive and we’re getting ready to hit the 1 millionth product collected for Share the Dignity in our stores. For store teams like Woolworths Sandgate, they’re getting involved with morning teas and decorations throughout the month. Rochelle Courtenay stopped by ahead of the Drive with local volunteers like Pamela to share some awesome stories about the work that goes into making each Dignity Drive a success, collecting all of the donated products and getting them to local charities.  To celebrate, Woolworths is donating five cents from the purchase of every period care product throughout the month. For the first time, Everyday Rewards members can also get up to 10x points on period products when they boost in the app! If you’re in store this month, keep an eye out for the pink collection boxes and ask our team members for more information about the Dignity Drive. We can’t wait to see which store receives the 1 millionth donation - stay tuned. Loretta Arrastia Tracy Rundell Miranda G. Brittiny Edwards

Caitlin Foord and Hayley Raso have more in common than being teammates in the Australian women’s football team. Both players have a huge appreciation for where their passion for soccer started: their local football clubs. Caitlin started out playing for Warilla Wanderers in the coastal suburb if Shellharbour on New South Wales' South Coast, where she proudly donned a white and red jersey. Meanwhile, fellow forward Hayley paved the way to her Olympic goals, after debuting her goal-kicking skills in Queensland while playing for Palm Beach Soccer Club.   The two – who are currently representing Australia in Paris – have joined forces with Woolworths, which has granted $1 million to Australia’s grassroots clubs through the Woolworths Sports Grants initiative to nurture upcoming sporting talent. “I nominate this club because it’s my first football club, and I know this money would be a big help to the club and kids,” says Caitlin of her nomination to the Warilla Wanderers. “I was down there earlier today watching my cousin and all the kids were so happy to see me.  It would just be nice to give back and support where I can.” “Warilla Wanderers FC are very thankful for the grant nomination made by Caitlin Foord. We are very proud that Caitlin started her football journey at our club. Caitlin's career and achievements to date are truly inspirational to our juniors and has demonstrated to them that through commitment and hard work, they can also achieve,” says a spokesperson for Warilla Wanderers FC. “We thank Caitlin for her nomination and if successful, it will help our club continue to focus on junior development and nurture the next generation of future Matildas.” As for Hayley, while she’s more well-known for donning the green and gold jersey, the star forward thanks her community and former coaches, who fly the blue and white flag high back at Palm Beach Soccer Club. “This was my junior club, which helped me get to where I am today. They have supported me and continue to support me on my journey in becoming an Olympian,” she says. Australian Olympic Committee
