Andrew started his career at PwC, later moving to London to work in industry roles before returning to Melbourne. He has experience as a finance leader across large private and public organisations in a wide range of industries including Education, Retail, Construction and Manufacturing. Andrew has been recognised as a Finalist for CFO of the Year (2023) and the Future of Finance Innovator Awards (2024).
Andrew is the Group CFO of the Walkinshaw Group and serves on its Board. In this role, Andrew leads all aspects of the Group Finance function and plays a key role in setting and executing the group’s commercial strategy alongside the Group MD and Board. Andrew has earned a reputation for driving change, executing turnarounds, scaling business, and delivering tangible results through effective partnering.
As a leader, Andrew provides strategic direction to his team and is committed to building capability through a supportive management style that provides his team with the freedom to solve problems, ask for guidance and learn from mistakes.
Andrew is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and holds a Bachelor of Management (Economics) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Queensland.
