We did not set out to run a VA company.

You see, we were running a business supporting people to communicate really well and build relationships and it just sort of happened…

You see…we grew our team to help spread the word about our communication business.

And as we got more clients, we grew our team and also the scope of support they provided.

And it sort-of just worked.

I had heard horror stories around VAs. But that wasn’t our experience.

Sure, we had the odd minor hiccup, but other than that they were awesome.

And then our clients started asking us to do the same for them.

We ummed and ahhed. I mean, we were not a VA company. And we did not really want a distraction. We were on a role!

But we did it…to help our existing clients.

And it worked!

And then we got asked again…and again…

THAT is when we realised that our secret sauce around communication and relationships is what made the difference.

Eventually the demand got ridiculous. And we looked at each other and decided to go for it.

Global Teams was born.

With a strong focus on support, communication and relationships we continue to thrive and support more business owners and VAs to grow together.

We help people get great team members from the Philippines (Administration, Customer Service, Social Media Marketing, LinkedIn Marketing, Bookkeeping, Executive Assistants) and also from South Africa (Account Managers, Business Development Manager and Operations Managers).

    The courses are extremely practical and give participants new skills that they can use straight away.

    Food truck

    - Present 11 years

    The Food Truck was established to provide not only food to the vulnerable local community, but a place where they can belong and experience strong connection.

    Carmen joined the Food Truck to give a little back to the community but has found that she receives more that she gives. Connecting and listening to the clients enables Carmen to obtain perspective which she then takes into every other aspect of her life.

    So many people tell Carmen that they have always wanted to do…

    Founded in 1996 the Australian Red Cross Blood Service saves lives by providing life-giving blood, plasma, transplantation and biological products.

    Carmen was touched by this service at a young age, accompanying her parents when they gave blood and couldn't wait to turn 16 so that she could contribute.

    Seeing first hand the profound value that blood products can provide to individuals and families Carmen continues to give blood to this day.
