About
I am passionate about Inclusion, equity, diversity and human rights, I have lived experience and have been working in the disability sector for over 15yrs. I have had the privileged to travel around the state, nationally and internationally supporting people with a disability achieve their goals in life and through sport, I love the power of sport, how it can unite, inspire, create change, break down barriers, bring communities together alongside all the life lessons we learn along the way through sport.
I have worked in many different areas of the disability sector and been able to gain knowledge throughout my journey, I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to take on leadership positions and roles ,mentor others, work with teams to deliver Inclusion workshops, develop a range of toolkits and resources, and work alongside government, councils, national sporting organisations, state sporting organisations, schools, local sporting clubs and venues to help build capacity and create links between people with a disability, sport and the community, I have been able to engage in networking opportunities with people from all walks of life and I am continually learning and inspired. I am always eager to learn and believe you can never know enough about one thing to know it all and I look forward to learning and growing through every opportunity I get.
