About

My experience started in 1966 with a 7 year apprenticeship in Maintainance Fitting and Machine Building. This incorporated other skills such as Hydraulics, Sheet Metal Work,Electric and Gas Welding, Shaping, Milling, Turning, Horizontal Boring etc.
I spent 2 -3 years trainng apprentices in these trades whilst concentrating on the maintainance side of the job.
After arriving in Australia in 1982 and working as an engineer with the Boral Group of companies it was time to get into conveying and Power Transmission Sales.
I am now at my second stint ay owning my own company after selling the first business to Powergrip Industries in 1999 of whom I was State manager her in WA for 7 years before starting WA Belting Solutions in April 2006.

Specialties: Conveying and Power transmission specialists, design, manufacture and supply of the latest quality products from around the world.

I think the best achievement in our Business is the introduction throughout Australia of The SUPER SCREW belt joiner to the mines and quarries around Australia, now introducing the KIA KAHA as the next generation belt splice.
