About

My mission is to improve health and well-being outcomes for the public by being an influential agent for positive transformation of health system and service design and delivery...

...by speaking up, connecting, empowering, and transforming.

I work to strengthen trust in our health system, and ensure that the lived-experiences of health consumers are elevated to influence decision-making and drive positive change in health.

I am also a young person living with complex chronic illness and disability, and the recipient of two liver transplants.

I pair my own lived-experience and health sector expertise with a collaborative design approach to practicing partnerships to support organisations and people to translate lived-experience contributions into innovative, equitable, and impactful change in health care.

I am an experienced disability advocate, collaborative design and lived-experience engagement consultant, mental health ambassador, speaker, and health strategist.

Towards the end of 2019, the Australia | Israel Chamber of Commerce extended me the awesome invitation to join a delegation leading a health innovation trade mission to Israel on behalf of the NSW Department of Health and MediBank Private. I was the only health consumer advocate delegate, alongside health executives, CEO’s, and senior research and health economics experts - in recognition of my ongoing and substantive contributions to the health sector. This is my reflection on my time abroad.
