I am an award winning Industrial Designer with a passion for creating impactful products within the healthcare sector.
In my current role as Project Officer - Biofabrication at the Herston Biofabrication Institute I design products that utilise a number of advanced 3D printing technologies which directly improve the delivery of healthcare services within Queensland Hospitals. Working with advanced manufacturing equipment and experiencing firsthand the latest biomedical design processes has allowed me to continue learning and growing within the field of design.
I have a broad set of design skills, including a strong ability to iterate and communicate my designs through sketching, the creation of physical prototypes, and utilisation of modern design processes. I have professional-level competencies in a number of software packages including Adobe Suite, Solidworks, and Autodesk.
In addition to my design skills, I have over a decade of experience as an industrial electrician, and have proven experience leading teams. I thrive in collaborative work spaces, enjoy problem solving, and pride myself on my ability to deliver quality work.
