“A lot of great art directors have passed through the doors of Wieden+Kennedy. A few of them became great creative directors. And then there was a subset of those who were actually great leaders as well. Micah's work speaks for itself. So I'll speak on behalf of his leadership. Creative people LOVE working for Micah. They absolutely adore him. And they will go to the ends of the earth for him. Maybe this is because Micah is one of a dying breed of creative leader who has walked the walked for so long. He knows the emotional roller coaster that is life as a working creative intimately. And he takes it as his personal mission to lead with integrity. He leads from the front, taking the bullets when they fly, and he is always looking for ways to lift up the people who work for him. He inspires loyalty in his people because he takes on the hardest jobs and shoulders the biggest responsibilities. In this era of over-titled, over-promoted bullshit slingers and hyphenated hacks, Micah is the real deal. A true creative's creative director with taste and vision. When the chaos afflicting our industry settles I sincerely hope Micah is one of the few left standing. If he is, then there's hope for us all.”
