Mitchell is a passionate and visionary leader in the carbon and renewables sector, with over 15 years of experience in carbon markets, global commodities trading, and renewables infrastructure investment. Having led trading teams at the worlds largest commodity trading companies, Trafigura and Mercuria he is currently the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Markets at Climate Friendly, a leading provider of nature-based carbon credits and climate solutions.

At Climate Friendly, Mitchell manages one of the largest carbon credit portfolios in the world and drives the growth of the customer base across multiple sectors and regions. He leverages his extensive knowledge and network in the commodities and energy markets to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities and trends. He also applies his strategic and analytical skills to optimize the portfolio performance and risk management. Mitchell holds an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and a certificate in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University School of Engineering.
