    MOS consists out of a standard of five, integrated software applications, which if required could also integrate with other applicable expert systems used in the various stages of the mining value chain. MOS therefore provides a solid foundation to support quality data collection, process health monitoring and strategic and executive decision making.     MOS consists out of a standard of five, integrated software applications, which if required could also integrate with other applicable expert systems used in the various stages of the mining value chain. MOS therefore provides a solid foundation to support quality data collection, process health monitoring and strategic and executive decision making. The solution architecture separates data acquisition, data storage and reporting components with a web service integration layer. These applications were:
    · Micromine PITRAM : Mine control and fleet management
    · Honeywell PHD : Plant Historian and process control analytics
    · Geovia INSITE : Material tracking and Material Balancing/Reconciliation
    · Reporting : Automatic report generation from source systems data
    · Labware LIMS: Laboratory Information Management System

    My duties were as Technical Advisor and Project Manager on different areas of the MOS implementation program. Duties were to
    - Facilitate the execution of project activities with vendors and key site personnel
    - Work with stakeholders to ensure workshops, document review were of high quality and on time
    - Accountable for architecture and provide leadership for the project
    - Act in role of SME throughout the design, execution and hand over to support phases of the project
    - Control the technical issues and manage the schedule, time and cost of certain applications
    - Day to day contact for the vendor's technical leads
    - Manage issues and risks
    - Coordinate and report status of activities and deliverable's throughout the project.
