Entering the analytics space from a non tech background, I’m constantly excited to be working with external and internal stakeholders in their C-Suite Decision Making process.
Adding onto this, I also enjoy learning about the emerging field of Artificial Intelligence, specifically it’s applications towards data analytics.

FTP Server Migration

Created a new FTP directory for files to be transferred over onto the new AWS server using Serv-U
Conducted User Acceptance Testing by getting external stakeholders ( Eg; IT Managers) to send over a test file to the new FTP directory via Winscp to validate that the process was working prior to completion of the next step ( Movement to Production Environment).

Moving this over to the Production Environment, the Batch file was edited to reference the new FTP server directory, with changes committed to GitHub for version control.
Monitored the data flow into the cloud for 72 hours following the batch change, so as to ensure that data was updating following the change to the Production Environment. Only after this validation process was it communicated to internal stakeholders ( Product and Platform Engineers) that the old server was able to be decommissioned.
